Advertisement (Art)

  

On Art class, we make an advertisement for the Products that we usually use in the Bathroom. I got 85, my lowest score so far because the blending of the color did not match with the product itself. We use light and dark technique and block color. If I work hard on it I would have gotten a good score.  

Human Rights (Civics)

On civics class, we learnt that Human rights are moral principles that set out certain standards of human behavior, and it is a gift from God that cannot be taken away from someone. It is regularly protected as legal rights in national and international law.

We were asked by our teacher to present a video about Human Right's Violation. So me, Ruth and Aminy show's a video about a Helpless Asian Man Attacked by 7 Man. You can watch the Video here

As you can see in the video, One Asian men was attacked by 7 people at once. And this video has caused mass rage, of which we are one of the raged. People have been calling for the 7 teenagers in the video who are doing the beating to be arrested and charged. 

This should be avoided because Human rights are the basic rights and freedoms to which all humans are considered to have the right to life, liberty, freedom of thought and expression, and equal treatment before the law, among others. 

Natural Disasters

On 23 September, in English class,  asked to make a presentation about Natural Disasters. I was paired up with Michael and we were presenting about Meteors.

Movement of Substances

On Biology, we learned about Diffusion and Osmosis. Last Monday (30 September 2013) We were asked to bring one big potato and cut it into 0.5cm x 6.0cm long cylindrical strips.

We fill five Petri Dish which contain Sucrose Solution with different concentration and one Petri Dish with Distilled Water. We had to ensure that the potato strips are completely submerged in the solution and waited for 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes, take out the potato strips and measured the length. The potato strips will increase and decrease. It's because of Osmosis.

Relief Daratan

Diatas adalah replika relief daratan, saya bersama Ruth, Anand dan Putra membuat replika ini menggunakan kapas dan kertas. Kegiatan ini sangat membantu dalam mengingat relief daratan dengan lebih mudah. Saya menjadi lebih mengerti tentang relief daratan ini.

Math Reflection

On 11 March, we had a Math Carnival. We were divided into groups and I was paired with Felix. Each group prepared a game that related to statistic and probability. Grade 7, Grade 8 and some teacher will play the game. They'll also bring some coins to be paid during the game. I'm soo happy because it's fun and we learn many things also. I've understand more about probability and statistics, even if we didn't received much money I'm still happy.

English TOEFL Prediction

On last January, we took TOEFL Prediction test and all of us got 450 above. I'm soo proud of myself because I got 510 . It's also my first time to take this test.
